Got questions? We have answers. Here are some of the most common questions we get asked. If you need any further information please contact using the form at the bottom of the page.

Where are you based?

Sata has a purpose built academy on the outskirts of Birmingham in Sutton Coldfield. Close to the M6 and M42 plus Birmingham International Airport and Grand Central train station, we are easily accessible from across the UK. Free parking is available and there are several hotels nearby for people wishing to stay over.

What is level 5&7?

By the end of 2017, all medics and non-medics delivering aesthetic treatments will need to have completed or been studying towards Level 7. The Level 5 bridging qualification has been developed to allow Level 4 trained Beauty Therapists to progress onto Level 7. This has changed in a bid to standardise the issue of whether or not non-medics should carry out injectable treatments. The qualification will focus on the general knowledge competence and skills that were identified as vital to safe & effective injectable treatments in the HEE Qualification standards published January 2016

What is the cost of the course?

Whilst we never compromise on quality, the course with Sata is one of the lowest available in the UK and varies depending on experience. Your personal quote is available on request., which includes Level 5 & 7. We are able to offer payments in instalments, however, please contact us to discuss in more detail.

How long is a course?

This can vary depending on the type of course and experience of the students, but usually, a course will be 3 full days.

Do I need to provide my own models?

All models are sourced by Sata meaning you don’t have to worry about finding people yourself. However, if you would want to bring someone, you are welcome to do so.

Can I still take the course even if I’m not medically trained?

Yes, you can. Sata work alongside both medics and non-medics including beauty therapists, to deliver exceptionally high standards of aesthetic training. Beauty therapists require a Level 2/3 in beauty qualifications and can them commence the Level 5 & 7 training.

Do I need a prescriber?
